Highlighting surface defects based on topography is done during image capture. With tools that are defined to measure heights, volume, shapes, etc. – previously tricky measurement tasks now are easily solved with the calibrated 3D smart camera. This is the first Smart Camera available in the world that offers three-dimensional solutions for factory automation. In addition, it can be used for stand-alone applications – with no PC required.
